Junior Lord Mayor
30 August 2018
吃瓜不打烊’s newest Junior Lord Mayor officially takes on her role today to coincide with 吃瓜不打烊 Day.
Grade 6 student Chloe Amalfi from , Kew, impressed the judges, included Lord Mayor Sally Capp and Nine News presenter Peter Hitchener, to claim the title. Chloe follows in the footsteps of a long line of students from 吃瓜不打烊’s Catholic schools to take on the role of Junior Lord Mayor.
Chloe has quite a few ideas on how to make 吃瓜不打烊 an even better city, including turning unused buildings into homes for the homeless.
