An act of kindness
10 November 2020
While VCE students have been preparing for their exams, some Year 12s at , Greenvale Lakes, have been finding a way of giving back to their community.
Despite missing out on so much during the course of the year, and facing the challenges, disappointments and upheaval of many months, the students have not forgotten the value of giving back to someone else. Lucas, a Year 9 student, had spoken with his Year 12 pastoral care ‘buddies’ about his dream of owning a pair of his favourite white runners. Before finishing up to study for their exams, the Year 12 students pooled their money and presented Lucas with a pair of his dream runners. Lucas was over the moon and, naturally, couldn’t wait to try out his new shoes.
VCE exams begin today with English and English as an Additional Language (EAL), and continue until 1 December. We wish all VCE students good luck in their exams.
