Despite the limitations of current restrictions, the students and staff from Our Lady’s School, Craigieburn, found new ways to celebrate their special feast day.

The feast of Our Lady reinforces a traditional Catholic practice that happens every year at the school and throughout the parish, and this year was no different. All of the students were full of energy and enthusiasm for the day. Although they could not gather at the church for Mass, the teachers were able to create around 700 churches in the students’ homes during the year-level liturgies. The screens were full of reverence and reflection on favourite moments at the school: beautiful memories to remind us that we are an example of living together in peace and harmony, just as Jesus did with his mother Mary and St Joseph.

The Year 4 children had a special liturgy as they were joined by Fr Toan, who was able to share his faith and experience of being part of Our Lady’s Parish.

Staff have shared their favourite memories of Our Lady’s School in a special video.
