Role Description/Criteria
St Dominic’s School is seeking to employ an enthusiastic and hardworking teacher who has a passion for learning and teaching in a richly diverse and compassionate Catholic community. Applications are invited from those teachers who are able to fulfill the following criteria as a classroom teacher.
It is expected that the successful applicant will:
- Be committed to the values and ethos of our Catholic faith and promote the Catholic Identity of the school
- Be highly motivated, committed, positive and collaborative in their work
- Be passionate and innovative about learning and teaching
- Have a sound knowledge of current best practice and the Victorian Curriculum
- Have the capacity to make adjustments for a diverse range of learning needs
- Be able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, parents and students
- Be committed to ongoing learning and professional development
- Be committed to using feedback and data to drive student improvement.

Special Requirements
Applicants should:
- ideally have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School, or be willing to gain this accreditation
- hold current VIT registration
- submit a completed application form

- submit a current CV which includes the names and contact details of three referees.
