We are seeking suitably qualified, highly motivated and dynamic Classroom Teachers to form part of our staff team for 2025. The successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education and to the safety, well-being and protection of children. The position/s will commence in Term One, 2025. We welcome Graduates and Part time applicants.
Role Description
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a collaborative, vibrant and dynamic Catholic school and we warmly welcome interest and applications from experienced teachers as well as graduates. We encourage enthusiastic staff who wish to join our committed and collaborative staff team.

- Using purposeful assessment that provides data to drive and plan further teaching
- Developing positive, meaningful and committed relationships with students, staff and the wider school
- Supporting the school community to develop and nurture a culture of welcome and inclusion

Key Selection Criteria:
Please elaborate on your experience and strengths in the following areas:
- have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education
- demonstrate successful approaches to student wellbeing in the classroom and school community
- have knowledge of and be able to demonstrate implementation of the current Child Safety Standards
- demonstrate the development of positive partnerships with parents and the wider communityÌý
- create, build and embrace a positive collaborative, team-based approach to teaching and learning and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, using evidence-based strategies, including the use of data and feedback to enable and enhance student learning
Evidence of this needs to be provided in the application:
- have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation (advantageous)Ìý
Ìý - be appropriately qualified and hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration
