Role Description/Criteria
We are seeking a teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.
Applicants must be able to:
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýdemonstrate a strong commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýcontribute as a member of a Professional Learning Team, planning and teaching in a collaborative environment focused on continual improvement
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýteach effectively to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all students
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýuse data to inform teaching
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýhave the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýdemonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and teaching
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýplan, teach, assess, and report to class teachers on the Physical Education and Sports program using the Victorian Curriculum as the main reference
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýset a budget, monitor and purchase Physical Education equipment/resources
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýcoordinate and oversee the School Athletics and Footy Fun Day
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýassist senior school class teachers with inter-school sports
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýCoordinate school representatives for zone and regional swimming; cross-country; athletics
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýattend appropriate professional development and share information with staff
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýdemonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents, and students
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýbe committed to personal and professional growth
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýhave registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T
•ÌýÌýÌýÌýpreferably have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School.
Applicants should include a cover letter, resume and two referees, including their current Principal.
