St Christopher’s Primary School is seeking to employ a junior classroom teacher, beginning January 2025 to join our dynamic teaching team.
The position is full-time for a fixed contract until the end of 2025 however, there is a strong possibility of the position being available beyond 2025 and ongoing employment.Ìý
St Christopher’s is seeking a teacher who is dedicated to catering for the individual needs of students and creating a positive classroom climate. The candidate must be a team player.
The successful applicant must have:(criteria)
- strong relationship skills with students, staff and parents
- ability to use data to inform teaching in order to meet the individual needs of all students, especially in Maths and English
- ability to create a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- a passion for teaching
- the ability to work within a team
- current VIT registration
- be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School and a passion for teaching Religious Education within the Catholic context or prepared to gain accreditation
- a strong commitment and proven record in Child Safety and the wellbeing of students
