Role Description/Criteria
St Patrick's Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic Catholic school, 20 minutes from ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ's northern suburbs. It sits alongside Assumption College, our sister Marist school, and we work very closely with their staff and students alike.
We are looking for dynamic applicants within a primary school environment for a Prep to Year 6 specialist teacher role that will implement the school’s French program.
The school values staff who are comfortable in an environment of ongoing improvement, self-reflection, coaching/mentoring and peer interaction. We are looking for creative thinkers, who are life-long learners and want to be part of a well-supported team in a relatively new, beautiful built environment.
St Patrick’s is a school committed to the safety, well-being and protection of all children in our care. A sound and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current 'Child Safe' standards is required. A copy of the school’s Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct can be found on the school’s website.
Applicants are asked to demonstrate:
- current VIT registration;
- practical and sound knowledge of the French language, including speaking French fluently;
- experience teaching a French program;
- confidence in using ICT;
- knowledge of Victorian Curriculum;
- accreditation to teach RE (desirable);
- a commitment to engaging students and improving outcomes;
- an ability to explain how data analysis and feedback would be used to drive student learning.
