History:
St Andrew’s School was first established in 1908 in the old bluestone church. The leadership of the school was taken over by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1910 and they remained involved in the school until a lay principal was appointed in 2005. The first buildings on the present site were built in 1920 and blessed and opened by His Grace, Archbishop Daniel Mannix. Since its early beginnings St Andrew’s has gone through many changes and building programs to become a modern school educating children for the present as well as the future. St Andrew’s has a long history of educating children, and families are proud to belong to a place they love. The school enjoys a very supportive, active and loyal parent body which enhances our school community spirit. Together we live the Gospel, love our God and each other, and learn as we travel together.
