History:
Our Lady of Lourdes School was established in the Armadale area in 1922. The parish was known as the Armadale–Toorak Parish. The school opened in February 1923, by the Presentation Sisters from Presentation College, Windsor. Enrolment numbers at this time were approximately 200, with children in Prep to Year 8 classes. The current school in Wynnstay Road was built in 1961 to cater for the growing number of families in the area. During July 2011, the school community celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the school on its current site starting with Mass followed by a school and parish community gathering.
