History:
Mother of God opened on 8 February 1955 with an enrolment of 340, 10 of whom were Australian born and 70 who had never been to school. Today we have 86 students under the care of 10 staff members. While the early settlers were mainly Maltese, Polish and Ukrainian origin, we now cater for Greek, Italian, Vietnamese, Spanish, Arabic and Philippine children.

The school is a single-storeyed brick building consisting of:
Four teaching areas, ESL/Science room, Library, multi-purpose area, Art room, Resource room, storage areas, Canteen, Staff room and Administration area.
Trees abound and playing space is adequate with a basketball and netball court, as well as a grassed soccer and football area. A small adventure playground is used by the junior children and a portable classroom can be used for playgroup sessions, parent meetings or chit chat times.
