Description:

Holy Saviour School is a place where staff, children and parents are encouraged to participate in the life of the school and parish.

Holy Saviour is an attractive brick school with the school hall/parish church, classrooms, administration and learning centres creating a stimulating and effective learning environment. The school is built on nine acres of extensively landscaped grounds in Vermont South. We have well-maintained facilities and grounds with a large grass oval, two basketball courts, junior and senior adventure play equipment, and access to six tennis courts.

At Holy Saviour we offer a well-balanced, comprehensive curriculum, which retains a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy. Teachers strive to make their classrooms vibrant and active learning environments, in which stimulating teaching strategies are designed to maximise student interest and learning opportunities.

Specialist staff include a Religious Education Leader, an Italian teacher, a Performing Arts teacher (Drama, Singing, Dancing), a Physical Education teacher, a Digital Technologies/STEM (DigiTech) Leader, a Literacy Leader, a Reading Recovery/Leveled Literacy Intervention teacher, a Learning Diversity Leader and five Learning Support Officers.
